At the end of KS1 & KS2 (Yr 2 & Yr 6) children take part in national assessments to determine their level of achievement against national expectations.
There were no statutory assessments for Yr 2 & Yr 6 in 2020 or 2021.

The floor standard is the minimum standard for pupil attainment and/or progress that the government expects schools to meet.
In 2019, a school will be above the floor standard if:
- At least 65% of pupils meet the expected standard in reading, writing and mathematics
or
- The school achieves sufficient progress scores in reading, writing and maths
To be above the floor standard the school needs to meet either the attainment or all of the progress elements.
