School Dinners
The London Borough of Merton are committed to ensuring that Merton school dinners are healthy and contain quality ingredients. At Merton Park, we provide halal meals and vegetarian options as well as individual menus for children with specific dietary needs.
School dinners are free for all children in Reception, Yr 1 and Yr 2.
The current cost of school meals for children in KS2 is £11.15 per week. Meals must be paid for weekly or termly, in advance, preferably by Parent Pay. Credit for an absence will be carried forward to the following week.
Pupils across the school are asked to commit to school meals for a full week.
Although school dinners are cooked on the premises the school uses the services of a catering company, Caterlink. To access the current menu please click here.
Hydration
It is important that children keep hydrated during the day so all children at Merton Park have a water bottle that they can drink from during their lessons. There are water fountains in the playground and in the corridor and all children are encouraged to drink water with their lunch. Children at Merton Park drink water or milk only.
